Today 6 March one of the worlds biggest travel market 'ITB' kicked off in Berlin. Several tour operators and hoteliers from Kenay are among the exhibitors.  5 years ago in 2008  we were also there and lost money after the chaos which resulted soon after 2009 the then German ambassador to Kenya  organized a special conference  with the motto 'Kenya is safe' it helped improve the sales but was not enough. Travellers were still questioning safety and most Countries had not removed the safety warnings in their  websites

Today we are back to Berlin and we are faced with a question we cannot answer'security' this is what every traveller is asking us .

Delaying the results will cost the exhibitors and 2013 tourism sales dearly. How comes all other results are known and not the  most important one?

Hassan to announce they will include spoilt votes is not well thought. He should have stood his  ground. Be his own man if the law permits.  This is not in favour of any candidate but the right thing to do ..Nowhere else are spoilt votes are counted and no one knows who the votes might have  favoured therefore it is just fair NOT to include them .It is just fair.   This means  the result will forever be questioned.

I remember IECB  bragging how ready they were to conduct the elections. Today they are singing a different tune.  We were so hopeful of doing the right thin at least this one time when it is so important in shaping our electoral process.
