After engaging in a physical confrontation in Parliament on Tuesday, Embakasi MP Babu Owino and his Starehe counterpart Charles Njagua Kanyi (Jaguar) did not stop there.
The two first-time MPs dragged their fight to social media, hours after exchanging blows and kicks at Parliament's media center. The two decided to continue" their scuffle online.
It is said the brawl between the two broke following a heated spat over Uhuru Kenyatta's status as the President.
Understandably, Jaguar is believed to have been aggrieved by Babu Owino’s claims that “Uhuru was a caretaker President.”
Jaguar, who rose to fame after his successful career in music, in a tweet on Tuesday evening ridicule Babu Owino, claiming that he needed counseling.
"Reached out to Babu as a colleague and age mate to respect the Presidency. He started shouting. Must b depression. I recommended counseling," Jaguar said in a tweet.
Babu Owino immediately replied to Jaguar's tweet in a pun-filled post which made fun of Jaguar’s recent hits.
“I will single handedly make you cry again and leave you one centimeter away huku ukijiangalia kwa kioo,” He posted on Facebook, but deleted the post later.
"Jubilee Mps Jaguar and Embakasi central Mp came to attack me today at Parliament. No reforms No elections," Babu said in another post.
