Famed British supermodel Naomi Campbell is currently on a vacation in Kenya, according to reports.
Campbell, 50, arrived in the country on Tuesday and proceeded to Billionaire Resort in Malindi, Kilifi County, where she is staying.
The luxurious resort is reportedly owned by Italian businessman Flavio Briatore who was rumored to have dated Campbell before they broke up.
This is Campbell’s third visit to the country, which comes two years after her last visit in 2018 when she was in Kenya to shoot a project for British Vogue.
She defied a travel advisory issued by the UK government against Kenya over terrorism threats.
“Many people discouraged me from coming to Kenya, saying the country was not yet safe to visit. But, I insisted that I would come; and here I am. I feel quite safe. I didn’t feel anything different from the way I have felt during my previous visits. There is tranquility here. People should not shy away from visiting Kenya. Life in Kenya is natural and beautiful,” she said during the visit.
Her visit comes a week after American RnB superstar Ashanti concluded her vacation in Kenya having jetted into the country on December 7th and checked in at Hemingways Hotel in Karen.
