On Tuesday November 27, 1951 a candle was lit for our mother, sister, grandmother and best friend Nancy Njeri Kamau (Mama Waweru), and it burned brightly for 65 years and then began to dim and flicker and expired on Friday 9th June 2017 afternoon in Nairobi, Kenya.
She was the wife of the late Benson Waweru, Loving Mother to Evans Waweru, Lynette Nduta Waweru and Anita Waruguru Kamau all of Nairobi Kenya. A Grandmother to many.
Nancy Njeri Kamau (Mama Waweru) was a Long-Term resident of Baltimore Maryland USA & Nairobi, Mariakani South “B”.
There will be a prayer meeting at Caroline Njane and Nganga resident from 6pm at 835 cloverleaf Ct, Edgewood, 21040 on Tuesday, June 13th.
Memorial service will be on Friday, June 16th 2017 at St Andrews I.C.C.A.E Church, located at 6515 Loch Raven Blvd, Parkville, MD 21239 from 6pm.
Burial will be on the same day, Friday, June 16th at her home in in Gacharage village, Muranga county, Kenya.
