It is with humble acceptance we announce the death of our beloved Margaret Thogori Guchu
(Maggie) of Austin, Texas, formally of Wichita, Kansas and San Antonio Texas, who was suddenly called to be with the Lord on October 25th, 2019.

She hails from: Kamahuha, Karinga Sub-location, Muranga County. She was the daughter of Joseph Guchu Muiruri and the late Loice Waithira Guchu; sister to the late Francis Muiruri, late John Njoroge, late Jacinta Nyambura, late Faith Muthoni, late Sammy Ngugi, Jesse Mwangi, Sarah Wanjiru, Nancy Njeri, Dorcas Wangari and Ann Wambui; beloved mother to Edwin Muiruri Gitau (Wichita KS, formerly of Austin TX) and Eric Kinuthia Gitau (Dallas TX, formerly of Austin TX).

Until her death, Maggie worked as a dedicated nurse and had an opportunity to serve with various organizations. Her warm personality saw her make friends everywhere she went, she is considered a daughter of many cities. She was an active member of every community she lived in; she contributed greatly and founded many social and investment groups that brought people together.

Maggie as she is popularly known by many, lived her life well and to the fullest and touched the lives of those she met.

The family appreciates anyone who wishes to donate towards the funeral expenses using this GoFundMe link.

She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Rest well Maggie because you lived well, until we meet again.
