BET Awards Nominated Kenyan Group Camp Mulla to Miss Awards Ceremony Due to Visa Issues

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

BET Awards nominated and Kenya’s currently favorite musical group Camp Mulla will not be travelling to the United States for the awards ceremony, after failing to secure travel visas at the American embassy in Nairobi.

The group reportedly applied late for the visas, and therefore their visas could not be processed in time to make it for the awards. The young and talented Hip-Hop and RnB has been nominated for the 2012 International Act (Africa) Award. The awards will be held on July 1st in Los Angeles, California (READ MORE: Kenyan RnB Group Camp Mulla Nominated for a BET Award).

The group had also been expected to perform live tonight at Club Zanzibar in Santa Monica, California.
