Kenyans in the Diaspora Cry Foul Over "Councils of Unity"

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

A section of Kenyans in the diaspora are crying foul after they formed what one of our ambassadors said were "councils of unity" whose aim was to unite the Kenya community in the diaspora.

Those who were actively involved in the formation of these councils are now complaining that their intention is not to serve the community interests but to provide the diplomat's preferred presidential aspirant with a ready and captive audience when he travels to the country in search of votes!

Kenyans are chronic complainers, if the so called council don't serve you, why join? Personally I have attend one or two meetings around my area, and I found a pure waste of time.
