Regional Development Minister and Acting Local Government Minister Fred Gumo has been hospitalized for the last two days at the Aga Khan University Hospital.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Gumo, who is also Westlands MP, is in the ICU at the hospital after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday, shortly after arriving back in Kenya from an official week-long visit to China. The ODM MP was part of Prime Minister Raila Odinga's delegation to China, and is a close ally of the Prime Minister.
