Video: Fidel Odinga Weds His Eritrean Girlfriend in Nairobi

Prime Minister Raila Odinga's son Fidel Odinga has tied the knot to his Eritrean girlfriend Getachew Bekele today, in an invite-only wedding ceremony, held at Othodox church here in Nairobi.
This is the second time for Fidel to have a wedding, after he divorced his former wife Veronica Wanjiru Ng'ang'a. Although unlike the previous one the wedding was closed to the scrutiny of the media .

Hmmm,
A nasty man with a nasty name and identity! Do you want to play politics instead of celebrating their marriage and being happy for this couple? Any Ethiopian knows that Luwam is an Eritrean name. Having said that, it will not make any difference if she is Eritrean/Ethiopian married to our African brother! The only thing that we, the true Ethiopians, differ from Eritreans is that we will always be loyal in protecting Ethiopia and standing up for our African brothers from western colonialism. Now times has changed, the Eritreans are learning to appreciate the beauty of black people! I believe they like to define themselves with Italians, Egyptians, and Arabs!
Meles Zenawi, what is the matter is your spread of ethnic hatred (excluding the Tigre people) is not good enough for you! Now, you want to spread hatred, which you learned from European colonials, to our neighboring countries! You will pay for your evil action one day! Just remember evil destroys evil!

As a proud Orthodox Christian and black African woman,I hate what the Orthodox church's action towards this union. One, no black woman hurt another black woman by taking her husband! Does Lwam and Fidel know their union is a form of adultury according to the Holy Bible? Lwam, I have already dislike you for taking my beautiful's African sister's (i.e. Veronica Wanjiru Ng'ang'a) husband? But then again, it is not my business!
Going back to the point, the Orthodox church SHOULD NOT ALLOW SUCH MARRIAGE (allowing people to be married to another person when their ex-wife is alive)...We Africans should not allow our churchs to be so liberal as the western ones...we all know what happens when such things happens...END OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION and MORALITY!
To my beautiful African sister, Veronica Wanjiru Ng'ang'a, I wish you all the best. I am sure the good Almighty God has prepared something great and beautiful that no one will spoil it for you. Just wait for Jesus...and when Jesus gives, he will give you whole!

She is Ethiopian from the Tigray region..The name Luwam is a Tigringa name. But there is no Eritrean with the last name Getachew Bekele, this is an Ethiopian Agaw -oromo name. The Tigray people are Agaws and Oromos who adopted Tigringa from their northern neighbors same as the Amhara who are Agaws and Oromos who adopted Tigringa words and customs..
Fidel Odinga was already divorced when he married the Ethiopian Luwam from Tigray.

Does it really matter she is black and beautiful period, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Sudanese, Kenyan, Tanzanian, South African, Moroccan, etc? Just know your married to a pig, lol.

Well, to be frank, no bit of diffrence between Erytria and Tigrai region of Ethiopia. The point should be why Ethiopian Orthodox allowed this marrage while his former wife is still alive? That is rather odd. Otherwise, this is not poletics but pure social life, and hence no diffrence, you can consider Erytria as part of Ethiopia, for over 3000 years.
