The Miss Kenya USA organization hopes to help each and every young woman that participates in the pageant to achieve their philanthropic work whether they win the crown or not. This is a challenging way forward to enable the organization to achieve the goals set forth by the Kenyan Government's Vision 2030. The Miss Kenya USA pageant hopse to link each one of the contestants with an organization that is already working at social and developmental issues in Kenya as well as here in the USA; to further the purpose of their platforms. Lastly, the pageant shall encourage these young women to market and be the best goodwill ambassadors for Kenya in the Diaspora.
These nine contestants are from eight different states and have come out to vie for the crown and be the Goodwill Diaspora Ambassador here in the USA. Higher Education being a key component for entry, so must an individual have the desire and the drive to accomplish charitable tasks within her rein. Miss Kenya USA Pageant is driven by its Motto; K.E.N.Y.A which stands for Keep Empowering Next Young Achiever.
The Pageant, which is scheduled to take place on September 2nd, 2012, has a jam packed schedule. There will be a Charity Golf Tournament sponsored by Safari Golf Club NJ/NY; followed by the pageant and lastly winding down the night at a lounge.
These ladies have gone to school for different disciplines of which they hope to utilize to accomplish their goals set forth by their platforms. Please meet the current contestants for the Miss Kenya USA 2012-13 pageant.

Hobbies & Interest: Running, Modeling, Dancing, singing and travelling
Charity/Organizational Involvement: In the process of providing education to girls from disadvantaged backgrounds through Foti self-group which I co-founded with my mum.

Hobbies & Interest: Travelling, writing poems and dancing
Charity/Organizational Involvement: Project I Matter which is currently supporting a special needs child obtain basic education.
