Kenyan rapper Stella Mwangi will be curtain-raising for Akon when he comes to Nairobi next weekend.

The Norway-based musician who has made several trips to Kenya since the year began will be touching down at the JKIA several days before the concert, which has been pegged for October 27 and 28.

Her management team has confirmed that she will be performing on both days.

"The performance at the Carnivore on October 27 will be for adults only, while the October 28 show will be for family," according to organisers Spartan Group.

Alongside the Senegalese crooner's tracks, fans will enjoy Stella's all time hits as well as sample her fresh new sound, including tracks Bad as I Wanna Be, Stella Stella Stella and Shut It Down.

All three are part of her new album, and their videos were shot in Nairobi.

Stella will be hoping to not work too hard when she comes to Kenya this time round, but that shouldn't be a problem since her latest video Shut It Down is still fresh in our minds.
