Kenyan Student in the US Seeks Kenyan Survey Participants

Lucy Wachira, a Kenyan student at North Carolina Central University, seeks adult Kenyan males (18 years or older) from all over the United States who would be willing to participate in her thesis study titled “Kenyan Adult Males: Exploring the Impact of Migration and Suggested Counseling Interventions,” which will be concerned with examining the impact of migration on male immigrants within the Kenya community.

The survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/69CCQHF. Please read the diclaimer below prior to completing the survey.

The minimum age to participate is 18 years and older. You must also be a male. Please note all participation is voluntary and takes roughly ten (10) minutes to complete. This study only has an educational value. There is no monetary gain towards you as a participant. However, the information gained from this study may help us to better understand the experiences of Kenyan immigrant males and provide a basis for future supportive interventions in the existing systems and communities.

There will be no identifying information of participants. You will remain anonymous and all responses will be presented in group or aggregated data once analyzed. The information obtained during this study may be published in scientific journals or presented at scientific meetings.
