Kenya Court of Appeal Declares Alcoblow Illegal

The Court of Appeal on Friday said the use of breathalyzers to test and arrest drunk drivers is illegal, saying the laws introduced by NTSA in regards this this are inconsistent with the Traffic Act.

The three-judge bench ordered that the laws be taken back to Parliament for review.

The judges made the ruling on a case filed by Reminisce Club along Langata Rd, that called for the gadgets to be outlawed.
