Hollywood Stars to Attend Wedding in Kenya as Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Marries US-Based Kenyan Businessman
A host of Hollywood celebrities will be visiting Kenya in July to attend the wedding of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's star Shamea Morton, who will be marrying US-based Kenyan businessman Gerald Mwangi.
Most of cast members in the reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) have confirmed they will be in attendance as the two exchange vows.
Those expected to attend include former Xscape singer Kandi Burrus and her husband Todd Tucker and former international model Cynthia Bailey. Others who are likely to attend are former Miss USA Kenya Moore and Shamea’s best friend Porsha Williams.
“Kenya [Moore] is going to be in South Africa. She says she’ll try to come.
Kandi and Todd [Tucker] say they’re definitely coming. Cynthia [Bailey] says she’s definitely coming because she’s got some friends in Kenya already, And I haven’t spoken to Porsha [Williams], but you know Porsha was supposed to be in my wedding, but I’m sure she’ll be there. I can’t see her not coming,” Shamea told The Daily Dish.
The wedding will be held in Nyeri County on July 22.
Shamea and her fiancé had already done their pre-wedding and dowry earlier in the month and are in the country this weekend to make final preparations for the D-day.
“I want it to be an experience for my guests, not just the wedding day.” Shamea said.
