Mudavadi Reveals How President Uhuru, Ruto Betrayed Him

National Super Alliance Principal Musalia Mudavadi has revealed how President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto betrayed him after agreeing to support him for the presidency in thr 2013 general elections.

Speaking during a burial at Mumias, Kakamega County on Saturday, Mudavadi said that the two could not be trusted adding that he joined NASA to save Kenya from the Jubilee Administration that he accused of mismanaging the economy.

“Kenyatta and Ruto came to my house and told me they had decided to back me for the presidency in 2013. I went ahead and invited them for a cup of tea and we later signed an agreement, which they disowned two days later,” said Mudavadi.

He said the President Uhuru and his Deputy Ruto had acted in bad faith and could not be trusted by Kenyans, urging Mourners to turn out in large numbers and Send Jubilee Home.

The two, who faced charges at the International Criminal Court were in the same camp with Mudavadi in the run of 2013 general elections, and had indicated their willingness to support the Former Sabatia Member of Parliament, only to change their minds in the last minutes, following uproar from President Uhuru Kenyatta supporters’ ad leaders from the Mt Kenya region.

Mudavadi went ahead to contest for the presidency in the 2013 general elections under the Amani National Congress, where he trailed President Uhuru Kenyatta and his rival Raila Odinga to emerge third in the race.
