Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has promised to provide ambulances that will be used to ferry the sick from hospitals to the voting centers in the August 8 polls to vote for National Super Alliance Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.

The Orange Democratic Movement deputy leader said the opposition coalition must ensure that all NASA supporters turn out in large numbers id they are to send President Uhuru Kenyatta home in the August 8 polls.

“I will ensure that all ambulances in Mombasa County are operational on August 8 so that we can ferry the sick to their respective polling stations to vote for Raila Odinga,” Joho vowed.

The Mombasa county boss further vowed that they will do all they can to ensure that their votes are protect any possible rigging by Jubilee, warning the poll body not to dare supervise a tampered poll.

“I will also ensure that I keep vigil at every polling station I go to – so that I can guard the NASA votes from being stolen. My strong message to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is that the counting and tallying of votes must be restricted to polling station returning officers.

He added, “I heard they would wait for Odinga’s votes to stream in before theirs (Jubilee Party presidential outfit). I understand they would be planning to see how many votes Odinga would have bagged before adding up imaginary votes to theirs so that Uhuru can be declared winner. This time round, even us we will wait for theirs to stream in first,”.

He further exuded confidence that NASA will be winning the august polls by a big margin.

“In Mombasa, they have overwhelmed me! I will be happy if Uhuru trails Odinga by nine million votes on August 8. The potential of NASA votes is more than ten million votes. I believe we will defeat them by 7am."
