Isaac Ruto Goes 'Missing' after Defeat to Joyce Laboso
Outgoing Bomet governor Isaac Rutto has not been seen in public or made statement since suffering defeat in the hands of former deputy National Assembly speaker Joyce Laboso of Jubilee Party.
The Chama cha Mashinani (CCM) leader was last seen in Chebaraa primary school, where he cast his vote.
The outspoken county boss has conspicously been missing in the various press briefings by his fellow National Super Alliance (NASA) principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetang'ula and Musalia Mudavadi.
Earlier reports indicated that Rutto was to make a statement on whether he has conceded or will dispute the results, but he has remained mum.
Bomet governor-elect Joyce Laboso urged Rutto to come out publicly and concede defeat.
The former Sotik Member of Parliament garnered 175,932 votes against Isaac Rutto’s 85,963 votes to clinch the top seat.
