Do Not Report to Work on Monday, Raila Directs Supporters

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has asked his supporters not tp report to work on Monday. Speaking at Kibera in Nairobi on Sunday afternoon, the former Prime Minister called on his supporters to abscond duties on Monday as they await an announcement from him on Tuesday.

"We had predicted they will steal the election and that's what happened. We are not done yet. We will not give up. Wait for the next course of action, which I will announce the day after tomorrow," he told a heaving crowd of supporters in Nairobi's largest slum, Kibera.

"But for now I want to tell you not to go to work tomorrow (Monday)."

Siaya senator James Orengo, who accompanied Raila in the tour to Kibera also asked their supporters not to report to work on Monday. They asked their supporters to stay at home tomorrow as they plan on way ahead.

The team maintained that it will not seek legal redress in challenging the declaration of President Uhuru as the winner of Tuesday's election, but would seek the court of ‘public opinion.’

Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo said NASA would not rest until Raila Odinga is declared Kenya’s President. ”Hatutakula, hatutalala hadi Raila Amollo Odinga aapishwe kama Rais wa Kenya,” the legislator said.

The team was headed to Mathare to condole with the family of th a 8 year old girl, Stephane George who was shot on Saturday during protests.
