Uhuru: Raila Rigged Me Out

President Uhuru Kenyatta claims that opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga rigged him out through the courts in the recently concluded elections.

The Head of State said that the Supreme Court judges never detected any fraud on his side, adding that the annulment of his victory was illegal.

Speaking on Thursday in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Uhuru said that the court should have ordered a recount of votes, saying it would help vindicate him over alleged electoral fraud.

“That old man rigged me out using courts. I do not fear facing him again because I will still beat him badly,” said a charged Uhuru.

He added:"Those four old men in court never detected any malpractice on my side and I challenge them to order a recount. That will still show that I have been rigged out.”

Uhuru has continued to maintain that the court was wrong to overturn his victory.

In their judgment, four judges ruled in favour of Raila Odinga stating that elections were not held to the standards of the constitution, declaring the August 8th presidential election invalid, null and void. The apex ordered a repeat election be held within 60 days.
