Raila Invites Those Ready to Go to Canaan to "Buy Tickets"

National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans who want to join him to the 'promised land Canaan' to "buy tickets" by sending donations for his presidential campaigns.

Addressing the media on Friday morning, the former Prime Minister to members of the public to give money for campaigns for the repeat presidential election scheduled for October 17th.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader said "anybody who wants to go to Canaan" should buy a ticket by sending donations to their accounts.

The money can be channeled through M-Pesa paybill 991444 or Co-operative Bank account name ODM, account number 01120006511102.

"People can contribute whatever they can afford even if it is Sh10, Sh100, Sh1 million and much more. This will help us in the campaigns," Raila told journalists on Friday.

"When you make that contribution you will be buying your ticket to Canaan...The journey is unstoppable...buy your ticket because we are confident we shall reach Canaan."

Raila will lock horns with President Uhuru Kenyatta in a typical 2013 and August 8th rematch, following a Supreme Court ruling that nullified President Uhuru's victory.
