Dogs Maul on Former Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua's Grandson to Death

Former Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua's two-year-old grandson succumbed to death on Thursday after a pack of six dogs mauled him at their Nyeri home.

The incident reportedly occurred after the dogs from their neighborhood broke into Gachagua’s homestead through the fence and attacked the young child.

Margaret Gachagua, the boy's grandmother sustained minor injuries while trying to rescue the minor from the dogs.

The body of the minor has been taken to the Outspan Hospital Mortuary.
