We Shall Take Raila to the International Criminal Court, Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri Warns

Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri says that Jubilee had invited the International Criminal Court (ICC) to monitor opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga's moves.

Kiunjuri said that the Hague-based court will arrest Raila if there is bloodshed in Kenya.

Speaking in Samburu county said said the government has already invited ICC investigators to look into possible plot by the opposition leader to cause chaos in the county.

“If there is bloodshed in this county after October 26th, we shall not hesitate to take Raila to the ICC to answer for it," Kiunjuri said.

The Opposition leader has maintained that there will be no elections on October 26th, if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission fails to give in to their demands dubbed "irreducible minimums".

Among the demands the opposition outfit is making is the removal of 11 IEBC officials including CEO Ezra Chiloba and two Commissioners.

Raila also want French biometrics firm, OT-Morpho which provided IEBC with IT services in the last month's polls and Dubai-based printing firm Al Ghurair, which printed ballots for the poll blacklisted from the repeat election.
