Kenya’s Sauti Sol band has found itself on hot soup after supporters of ruling Jubilee party and opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) online united in attacking them over remarks they made against the two political outfits.

In a post both on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, Sauti sol dismissed both Nasa and Jubilee as outfits with nothing to offer to Kenyans, sentiments that has earned them the wrath of a hybrid of Nasa and JP backers.

"Tibim, Tialala & tano tena are all empty slogans with no data and development records attached to them.”Sauti Sol posted on Twitter.

"TIBIM, TIALALA & TANO TENA are all empty slogans with no data and development records attached to them. A critical mass of this country is simply uneducated that's why these things turn us on. But to be honest why aren't these battles about manifestos and track records? In this country as long as you have money you can fart and people will cheer," a Facebook post read.

Here are some attacks directed to the band by angry Nasa and Jubilee supporters.

"pumbavu...wat can a group of gay men say to NASA patriots'?, one asked.

@thomjoel said: "Kama matako imechoka semen."

@errycar10 notes: "wat can men who go to saloon and walk with mirrors in the pocket tell Kenyans? #NASAHao."

@ngwata_ said: "By the time #KOT is done with you...."

@Disembe: 'The boys are yet to take a political stand but have on numerous occasions been to the State House."
