NASA: Numbers in Thursday's Repeat Election Confirm President Uhuru Din't Win in August

National Super Alliance leaders says that Kenyans opened Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers during Thursday's repeat presidential election to confirm that President Uhuru did not win the August 8th election.

Speaking during a press briefing at Okoa Kenya offices in Lavington, Nairobi on Friday, Nasa principal Musalia Mudavadi argued that the drop of President Uhuru's 8.3 million votes garnered in August vote exposed rigging occurred in the cancelled election.

The Amani National Coalition party leader lauded Kenyans for obeying their call to boycott the poll, saying that it “exposed the IEBC by proving Uhuru did not win.”

“The citizens have finally opened the servers that the IEBC refused to open. The boycott has shown that the so-called numbers and percentages that Jubilee and Uhuru Kenyatta have been talking about were all along fraudulent,” Mudavadi said.

He condemned brutality meted on opposition anti-election protesters on Thursday by police and urged their supporters to keep away from the officers who have instructions to shoot them.

“Uhuru lost the August election and has again lost this sham one in which he was basically running against himself.”

He noted that the low voter turnout, which he said was at about six million, proved that Uhuru did not garner the 8.3 million votes against Raila's 6.7 Million.

The former Vice President also criticised the electoral commission for postponing the repeat election in four Nyanza counties, saying that it amounted to ethnic profiling as it painted the one community in bad light.
