Wiper Rubbishes Claims of Kalonzo Musyoka Ditching NASA

John Wanjohi Nov 01, 2017

The Wiper Democratic Movement party has rubbished claims that Kalonzo Musyoka has plans to abandon the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Addressing the media on Tuesday in Nairobi, Wiper Vice Chairperson Shakila Abdalla termed as false claims that the former Vice President was going to join the Jubilee Party once he arrives in the country from Germany.

Shakila insisted that Kalonzo is in Nasa to stay, adding that no amount of propaganda by Jubilee will split Kalonzo from the opposition outfit.

Shakila, who is the Lamu Women Representative, called on Nasa supporters to ignore the rumors by desperate Jubilee and remain resilient in the fight against injustice.

“This is a plot by Jubilee to scuttle Nasa and render it weak so it can't fight the injustice committed by the government," Shakila said.

She said that Kalonzo has been in Germany for the last two weeks to deal with personal matters.

“He has been in Germany on a personal trip, but I can confirm that our party leader is in Nasa to stay."

Shakila said the Nasa leader has been in constant communication with his fellow principals and will soon be back to engage in the coalitions activities.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have been in the record in recent times urging Kalonzo to ditch the opposition for Jubilee in preparation for 2022 presidential politics.
