NASA to Hold anti-Uhuru Protests Next Week

John Wanjohi Nov 04, 2017

National Super Alliance (NASA) will be back in the streets next week to protest against the declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as the President-elect in the controversial October 26th repeat presidential election.

Addressing the press on Saturday, Siaya Senator James Orengo said NASA will stage a mega demo next week to express their dissatisfaction with President Uhuru's re-election.

He added that NASA will use all possible means to resist President Uhuru's government, which he termed as illegal and illegitimate.

“As you know article one of the constitution states that any government formed against the law is not legitimate. We must salvage Kenyans from Jubilee,” Orengo said.

Orengo further hailed the progress of their call for boycott of products from various companies and urged supporters to keep the spirit.

“We are glad to announce that we officially launched the NRM and we will continue telling Kenyans to boycott Bidco, Safaricom and Brookside products,” Orengo said.

Orengo also announced that NASA leader Raila Odinga and other principals will hold a rally in Nairobi's Kibra area on Sunday as to spread the products boycott word.
