National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga will take 'Oath of Office' as the People's President at Moi Stadium in Kisumu in a ceremony to be presided by Justice Richard Otieno Kwach, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria claims.

In a post in his Facebook page, Kuria further alleges that Odinga will lead his supporters in forcefully occupying the State House in Kisumu.

"NASA planning to swear in Raila Odinga at Moi Stadium Kisumu. Justice Richard Otieno Kwach to conduct the swearing in. He will then move with his supporters and storm State House, Kisumu," Kuria wrote.

Speaking during a press briefing on Thursday, Attorney General Githu Muigai warned the opposition leader that he risks being charged with treason, which is punishable by death if he is sworn in as the NASA coalition has indicated.

"I reiterate the any attempts to swear in any person as president other than the one elected in line with the constitution and in a manner provided for in the law is unlawful, illegal null and void," Prof Muigai said at the State Law office in Nairobi. "The punishment of committing treason is death. The swearing-in of any person not declared by IEBC, and who did not win the election, is unacceptable."
