Church Leaders Disown Kenyan Pastor Who Fell in Love with a Married American Woman
A section of church leaders from the Kisii region have disowned pastor Kevin Ondieki, who fell in love with an married American woman.
A few weeks ago, Ondieki, 26, who hails from Rianchogu village in Bomachoge Chache constituency featured in Dr Phil, an American talk show over his relationship with a 44-year-old woman. The woman, identified as Sarah has reportedly threatened to leave her husband of 18 years and their four boys to allow her settle with her new found Kisii lover.
During the show, Sarah said she was longing to meet ‘ Pastor Kevin’, with whom they’ve been sexting and are even planning on starting a family together.
The Association of Charitable Children Institutions in Kenya (ACCIK), Kisii branch officials now say they don’t know Kevin and are not aware of the existence of the orphanage he purports to operate.
“There are only 12 registered children’s homes in Kisii and we are urging the government to deal with any ongoing con games,” said Pastor Robert Nyamwange , the association’s secretary.
ACCIK vice chairperson Pastor Abel Onchari of Keumbu Holiness Home has challenged Kevin to “show us the certificate of registration.”
Kevin allegedly heads a praise and worship programme at his dad's End-Times Apostolic Church International at Riachogu village and not Life-Way Seventh-Day Church Ministries.
