Kalonzo Returns to the Country from Germany after Two-Month Absence
Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is set to return back to the country on Saturday to attend the burial of former Kitui West Member of Parliament Francis Nyenze, who passed on last week after a long illness.
Kalonzo has been in Germany for about two months now, attending to his wife Pauline, who has been receiving specialized treatment at a hospital in the European country.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) principal will also attend the swearing-in ceremony of his son Kennedy, at the East African Legislative Assembly in Arusha, Tanzania on Monday. Kennedy made his debut in politics on Thursday, after garnering 309 votes to sail to the Arusha-based regional Assembly.
Kennedy was elected to EALA together with eight others, including former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua, former Tigania East MP Mpuri Aburi, former Wajir County Woman Representative Fatuma Ibrahim, former Balambala MP Aden Abdikadir, former Mandera North MP Adan Nooru, former Nyandarua County Woman Representative Wanjiku Muhia and Florence Jematiah Sergon.
Others are ODM leader Raila Odinga’s elder brother Oburu Oginga, former Balambala MP Abdikadir Aden and ex-Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Ibrahim.
