Miguna Miguna Alleges Plot By Government to Assassinate Him

Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna now alleges that there is plot by Jubilee administration to assassinate him.

The former Canada-based lawyer said that the plot is being hatched by Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and the Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome.

Miguna, who was temporarily held by police last week on his way to Kilifi to attend the inaugural National Super Alliance (NASA) coast People’s assembly commissioned by opposition leader Raila Odinga, said this was a plot to block him from swearing in Odinga.

"@PoliceKE source has advised me that the I.G. Boinet and Japheth Koome have formed a team of 6 assassins to kill me on December 28th, 2017. Let the world know. I'm not afraid of them!" He adds.

Miguna, a former Odinga's aide is said to be one of the hardliners pushing for the anointment of the opposition leader as people's president, alongside Siaya senator James Orengo and former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama.
