Raila: Why My Swearing-in is Legal
National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga now says that his pending ‘swearing in’ is legal, because he legitimately trounced President Kenyatta in the August 8th general elections.
Speaking when he attended a Christmas service at St. Peters ACK church in Bondo, Siaya County on Monday, the opposition leader claimed that Nasa had accessed the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers found that he won the poll that was invalidated by the Supreme Court.
“We as NASA have accessed the server, and we won. I will not be sworn in against the law. I will do so because I won,” he said.
“I will be sworn in whether they like it or not. Come next year, you shall see what will happen,” Odinga added.
Siaya Senator James Orengo, who accompanied Odinga to the service said that the country will have new leadership in the new year after kicking out President Uhuru.
“We need a fresh leadership, and I know it will happen in the new year,” said Orengo.
