Raila Endorses Kalonzo Musyoka's 2022 Presidential Bid
Opposition leader Raila Odinga has endorsed his National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2022 presidential bid.
Odinga further indicated he will not be running for the presidency again, stating he's only focused on January 30th swearing in.
(We are talking about our win in August 8, (Governor) Professor Kibwana has asked me to concentrate on 2022, Professor, please, we killed an antelope in August 2017… we want to get it, slaughter and feed Kenyans first. The one that is in the wild, 2022, we will help Kalonzo to hunt and catch it. Let us finish with issues of 2017 first.)
Raila downplayed fears that the opposition outfit will soon split after disagreements between its principals.
“Kalonzo na Raila na Wetangula, watasimama pamoja, hakuna mahali tutaenda,” he said. (Kalonzo, Raila and Wetangula will stand as one, we are not going anywhere.)
He was speaking during a meeting convened to launch the inaugural people’s assembly forum in Machakos county, ahead of his planned January 30th inauguration.
