Kenyans Online React to Kalonzo Missing His Own Swearing-in Ceremony

National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga finally took oath as the people's president in front of thousands of supporters at Uhuru Park grounds in Nairobi.

The oath was administered by Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang and former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna. "I Raila Amolo Odinga, in full realisation of the high calling, assume the office of the People's President of the Republic of Kenya," he said in an the oath administered by Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang.

However, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka skipped the ceremony, but Raila said he will be sworn-in in later. "Kalonzo hayuko, ataapishwa baadaye; kwa sababu ya maneno amabayo yalifanyika mtajua baadaye," Raila said at Uhuru Park.

Also missing were other Nasa co-principals Moses Wetang'ula and Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi.

Kenyans took to the social media to express their feelings over the absence of Musyoka, with a majority branding him as a coward and traitor.
