Chris Msando's Widow Begs for Job to Feed Her Children
Widow of slain Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) acting ICT manager Chris Msando is now appealing for a job from the government or any organization to enable her educate and feed her children.
In a letter to Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o, Eva Buyu accuses the IEBC of neglecting her after her husband’s heinous murder on July 29th, 2017.
Governor Nyong’o read the letter during celebrations to mark 25 years since the establishment of Kenya Human Rights Commission at a Hotel in Nairobi on Wednesday.
“I don’t want to submit myself to another man in order to feed my children. I will appreciate any decent job that will enable me cater for my family,” Eva passionately appealed as quoted by the Star.
Her husband was murdered about a week before the August 8th, 2017 general elections and his mutilated body dumbed in a thicket in Muguga forest, in Kikuyu, Kiambu county.
In an autopsy report, Chief Government pathologists Dr. Johansen Oduor said Msando was tortured before his death. He was strangled and his right arm had deep cuts.
Since then, investigative agencies have not released much details about the ongoing probe into the murder.
