Miguna Miguna Reacts as Babu Owino and Moses Kuria Bury the Hatchet

John Wanjohi Apr 08, 2018

Deported self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has lashed out at Embakasi East MP Babu Owino over his move to seek peace with his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria.

Miguna, who reacted to the Friday meeting between the two fiery MPs via Twitter told Babu that politics without principle is prostitution. Commenting on Babu's tweet where he shared photos of him and Kuria at the birthday party of K24 TV's Ciiku Muiruri, Miguna asked the former University of Nairobi student leader to stop playing silly games with Kenyans.

“@Babu_Owino, politics without principle is prostitution. You cannot jump to bed with chauvinists like Moses Kuria if you were serious about those utterances you made about @UKenyatta. Don't play silly games with Kenyans!” read Miguna’s tweet.

Babu and Kuria vowed to put their differences aside after the unity pact reached between President Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga. The two have in the past traded bitter words in the political arena and social media platforms over divisions in ideologies between the opposition and Jubilee camp.
