Miguna Miguna Admitted to Hospital in Toronto, Canada

John Wanjohi Apr 09, 2018

Besieged Opposition politician Miguna Miguna says he is admitted at a Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

In a tweet, the self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general said that toxicological tests were being conducted on him by doctors at the Sunnybtook Health Science Center in Toronto.

The lawyer has maintained that government operatives injected him with a chemical substance before forcing him into a Dubai-bound Emirates airlines flight on March 29th, which he claims have affected his health.

Miguna assured his supporters that he remains strong and committed to the struggle against  injustices.

“Admitted at the Sunnybtook Health Science Centre, Toronto, for further toxicology tests and treatment. I remain strong and focused. Aluta continua," Miguna tweeted.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant further dismissed the unity deal reached between President Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga, stating that it has failed to change the state of affairs in the country.

He said that the truce has strengthened Jubilee to continue oppressing its critics as opposed to the unity it was supposed to achieve.

“It found it [Jubilee] weaker and fortified it. Jubilee Party has become more ruthless and arrogant. The progressive forces have been divided and weakened.”
