I'll Leave Kenya if DP William Ruto Becomes President, NASA Strategist David Ndii Declares

John Wanjohi Apr 24, 2018

Controversial National Super Alliance (Nasa) strategist David Ndii has vowed to leave Kenya if Deputy President William Ruto wins the Presidency in 2022.

Responding to a Twitter user who told him that he will be ashamed when the Deputy President succeeds President Kenyatta in the next elections, Ndii said he's making plans to fly out of Kenya if that happens.

"I am making plans just in case. I have no intention of living in a country governed by a neurotic megalomaniac," Ndii said.

On Tuesday morning, Ndii sparked another online conversation when he attempted to explain the meaning of Kenyatta-Odinga last month handshake.

He tweeted: "The #handshake IS about dynasties. @UKenyatta and @RailaOdinga have taken personal responsibility for and committed to correct, the sins of their fathers. The hustler is flogging a dead horse."

The economist noted the handshake between the two has already sealed a deal and Deputy President Ruto was wasting his time.

Ruto is considered the front-runner for the 2022 presidential bid.
