American rapper Rick Ross, who arrived in the country on Friday morning, has expressed plans of expanding his business empire to Kenya.

Speaking during an interview with NTV, the musician, who is not only famous for his music but also his entrepreneurial skills, said he was impressed by some of the things he has seen since arriving on Friday.

“I’m always open minded I just want to win, so you never know when you all see me out here make sure you halla at me. I have seen some incredible art, I have seen some beautiful furniture I just love the hustle,” Rick Ross said during an interview on NTV.

“I love to see people create because as black people we love to consume but we have to make sure we create more than we consume,” he said.

The 42-year-old rapper is believed to be worth about $35 million, amassed largely from sale of music and from his music recording label Maybach Music Group.

In addition, he owns the Wing Stop Restaurants chain which includes his newly purchased Checkers Fast Food Restaurant in Florida. He operates chains of restaurants across Mississipi, Alabama and Florida, while he's said to have employed more than 1,600 employees in his vast business empire.

He will perform on Saturday night in the NRGWave concert at Carnivore grounds, before launching a hospital ward named after him at the Texas Cancer Center in Mbagathi on Sunday.
