Miguna Miguna Takes a Jab at Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka
Deported Kenyan lawyer Miguna Miguna has blasted Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, terming him a coward.
This comes after Wiper party resolved to rally behind President Kenyatta's development agenda and efforts in the war against corruption.
“It is now the decision of the NEC/PG of the Wiper to directly work with President Uhuru in his effort to transform Kenya. Our members of parliament should stand guided by this resolution," read part of Wiper's resolution after Saturday National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
“We, therefore, laud the valiant efforts by Uhuru Kenyatta and his government to decisively deal with corruption and set the stage for the big four agenda,” the statement read.
Reacting to Wiper's resolution, Miguna described Musyoka as a 'confused animal like chipmunk."
"No human civilisation has come up with an accurate adjective to describe Kalonzo. He is not just a coward who could not attend the January 30, 2018 swearing-in ceremony at Uhuru Park he is a conflicted, contorted and confused animal like a chipmunk," the self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general said in a tweet.
Wiper said its resolution was informed by the March 9th handshake between President Uhuru and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
"Our priority after March 9, handshake is to ensure Kenya remains united and transitions in its recovery from hatred and politically instigated divisions. We strongly appreciate selfless leadership by Raila and Uhuru who chose to shelve their political interests and egos for the unity of Kenyans," Wiper said in its statement.
