Miguna Miguna Embroiled in a Bitter Social Media Spat with Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was on Monday involved in a bitter social media spat with deported Kenyan lawyer Miguna Miguna.
The confrontation between the two politicians began after Miguna accused Kuria of orchestrating some extra- judicial killings witnessed in the country.
The self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general linked Kuria to the murder of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Manager Chris Msando. Msando was killed under mysterious circumstances weeks to last year's hotly contested general elections.
"Those who tortured and murdered Sharon Otieno are as inhuman as those who tortured and murdered Chris Msando. Yet, those now loudly mourning Sharon Otieno, especially The ODM party members, are dining with Chris Msando’s killers such as Moses Kuria and Uhuru Kenyatta," Miguna claimed in a tweet.
His tweet however rubbed MP Kuria the wrong way, prompting him to hit back at the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant. The Jubilee MP claimed that the " Peeling Back The Mask" author was facing three rape cases in Ontario, Canada.
"I regret dining with you when I knew very well you had, not one, not two but three rape cases in Ontario," Moses Kuria said in a rejoinder.
Miguna was deported to Canada earlier this year by Kenyan immigration authorities on grounds of being illegally in the country.
