Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr Rushed To Hospital After Choking On Meat

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr was rushed to Kapsabet Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after he collapsed while having lunch at Eden Springs Hotel in Kapsabet town.

The Senator allegedly choked on a piece of meat and first aid was administered on him before he was rushed to the hospital. He has since been transferred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

The incident happened after he attended a morning session at the Nandi County Assembly alongside a group of other Senators.

Other Senators present included Yusuf Haji, Susan Kihika, Enoch Wambua, Abshiro Halake, Lelegwe Ltumbesi, Mohamed Faki, Rose Nyamunga, Boniface Kabaka, Kinyua Nderitu and Stewart Madzayo.

Medics who attended to him said the politician was in a stable condition.
