Kenyan Girl Tyra Angel Odeny Crowned Little Miss World 2018

A Kenyan girl, Tyra Angel Odeny has been crowned Little Miss World 2018.

The 12-year-old scooped the title at the 18th International Children’s Festival of Culture, Fashion and Arts held at the Grand Hotel Palace Royal Theatre in Thessaloniki, Greece on Tuesday.

Odeny beat 47 other contestants from 20 countries and will pocket a cash prize of 500 Euros and the gold exclusive crown. The Little Mister World 2018 Grand Prix title was won by 12-year-old Kantapat Rochanasmith from Thailand.

Contestants in the competition were categorized according to their age to create ‘Tiny Miss/Mister World category (4-6 years), Mini Miss/Mister (7-9 years), Little Miss/Mister (10-12 years) and Teen Miss/Mister (13-17 years).
 
Organizers and partners of the September 24th to 30th festival congratulated all the contenders.
