John Wanjohi Mar 16, 2019

Deputy President William Ruto claims that Opposition leader Raila Odinga has laid down an elaborate scheme aimed at destabilizing Jubilee party ahead of 2022 elections.

Speaking in Kisii County during Tabaka Mission Hospital's Laboratory ISO Certification ceremony, Ruto has poked holes at the handshake between President Kenyatta and Odinga.

Ruto says that although the handshake was meant to unite Kenyans, Raila is using it to break the ruling party.

DP Ruto has urged residents not to buy the politics of division being sold by Odinga and members of ODM party.

“We are not going back to that direction, we have been there before, we have learned our lessons, we are marching forward with the unity of our nation. we are not accepting any division anymore,” says Ruto.

He claims Raila has a history of destabilizing political outfits in the country.

He accuses Odinga of splitting the Kenya African National Union (KANU), National Rainbow Coalition (NARC), Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) and recently, the National Super Alliance (NASA).

He further claims that Odinga thrives on crisis and has no agenda for the country.
