Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge Wins Fourth London Marathon Title
Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge, who has been hailed as the greatest marathoner of all-time, on Sunday won the London Marathon title.
Kipchoge, who shattered the world record by more than a minute when winning the Berlin Marathon last year, has clocked 2 hours, 2 minutes, 37 seconds, making history as the first person to win four London Marathons!
Ethiopian duo Mosinet Geremew (2:02:55) and Mule Wasihun (2:03:16) have taken second and third places respectively.
In the Women's race, Brigid Kosgei has led her compatriot Vivian Cheruiyot to a 1-2 Kenyan finish.
Ms. Kosgei has crossed the finish line in 2 hours, 18 minutes, 20 seconds ahead of Cheruiyot who has clocked 2:20:14.
