Kenyan Woman, 19, Surrenders Herself to Police After Stabbing Boyfriend to Death

A 19-year-old Kenyan woman on Sunday surrendered herself to the police after allegedly killing her boyfriend.

The teenager is said to have stabbed her boyfriend in the neck at Kapkwen area, Bomet County on Sunday.

While confirming the incident, Bomet Central Police Commander Geoffrey Walumbe says the two lovers were involved in an altercation before the woman, 19, stabbed the man using a kitchen knife.

The two reportedly quarreled over some cash the man had earned from his manual labor work.

The deceased succumbed to injuries while being taken to Longisa County Referral Hospital.

The murder weapon has been retrieved even as police officers investigate the incident.
