Mass Deportations of Undocumented Immigrants from the US will Start after July 4th, Trump Says

US President Donald Trump says raids of undocumented immigrants will start sometime after July 4th.

“We will be removing large numbers of people starting sometime after July 4,” Trump said at a press conference  on Saturday following the G-20 summit in Japan.

This is after the president called off an earlier immigration raid planned for last Sunday that targeted about 2,000 families in about 10 US cities. The president said he postponed the raid for about two weeks at the request of Democrats.
