Jubilee Went into Political Bankruptcy on March 9th 2018, MP Moses Kuria Tells DP William Ruto

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria says Jubilee Party died immediately after March 9th, 2018 handshake between President Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.

In a Facebook post addressed to Deputy President William Ruto, MP Kuria said the governing party went into "political bankruptcy" on March 9th, 2018.

“Dear my good friend Deputy President William Ruto. Jubilee went into political bankruptcy on the 9th of March 2018," said MP Kuria.

He added: "The nature and configuration of Kenya’s politics forced us into Article 11 Bankruptcy. Raphael Tuju is only a Receiver-Manager. Don’t attack the messenger please."

Kuria was reacting to DP Ruto's Sunday morning tweet where he expressed distaste over reports that Jubilee secretary-general Raphael Tuju is working with Odinga and opposition.

“So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition!! Maajabu,” Ruto tweeted.
