'I Will Tie Your Manhood': Controversial Pastor James Ng'ang'a Warns Journalists in New Video
A new video of Neno Evangelism pastor James Ng’ang’a warning journalists and Kenyans online against publishing stories about him has emerged on social media.
In the video, Ng’ang’a, who is no stranger to controversy, vowed to deal with anybody who writes about him online or in newspapers.
“Mniandike sana kwa hiyo gazetti, mniandike sana…Wanaume wale mtanichezea nitafunga hiyo kitu yako, utakuwa unaona mke wako na macho, ng’ombe wewe! Mnichezee mtaona, nitafunga hizo vitu zenyu, mtakuwa mkikaa mkiona kwa macho na mate!” [Keep writing about me in the newspapers…keep writing…men who will joke around with me, I will tie your manhood, you will just be looking at your wives, you cows! Keep playing with me and you’ll see…]
He added: “Hiyo muweke itrend, nitawafunga hizo vitu zenu…nikuone hapo umeniandika.” [Put that and let it trend, I will tie your manhood…let me see you writing about me]
On Monday, Ng’ang’a was forced to apologize to Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai over death threats he allegedly made towards him in March this year.
“I apologize to Mr. Kaikai if he was angered by those utterances… I did not mean it that way…” Pastor Ng’ang’a said before Kiambu Law Courts Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi.
Pastor Ng’ang’a was arrested in March after Kaikai filed a complaint with the police after the preacher threatened him in a video that went viral on social media.
“Separate preaching na hii sarakasi za news anchor, nakwambia tu kijana. I am telling you like a Chief General Commander, you have to stop that, if you don’t stop you will face the consequences…” said Pastor Ng’ang’a in the video.
Ng’ang’a released the video after Kaikai suggested that the government should regulate pastors he referred to as “spiritual fraudsters.”
“The people behind these so-called churches have gone rogue in the name of Jesus, in the name of God. We are dealing with thieves not men of God,” said Kaikai.
In May this year, a video of the televangelist admonishing his bishops for allegedly disrespecting his wife went viral. He threatened to kick them out of his church if they continued with the behavior.
“If you are not going to respect my wife I will kick you out of my Ministry it doesn’t matter who you are. This time I will show you my power. If you don’t respect her, leave my Church and go start your own wajinga hawa,” he yelled.
“You have become rich in my Church; stupid, arrogant, useless people, taka taka, rubbish. There is nothing you can tell me.”
