Registration for the 2021 Green Card Lottery Ends in Two Weeks

The registration period for the Diversity Visa program for fiscal year 2021 (DV-2021) ends in two weeks.

Registration for the program, also known as the Green Card Lottery, started on October 2nd, 2019 and ends at 12pm EST on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019.

The Diversity Visa program makes 50,000 green cards available for nationals of countries with low immigration rates to the United States over the past five years.

The US State Department, which runs the program, reminds those wishing to participate in the program that registration entries are only available online at dvlottery.state.gov. Paper entries are not accepted, and failure to submit an incomplete entry or submitting an entry with inaccurate information will lead to disqualification.
