USCIS Advices Those With Upcoming Appointments at Immigration Offices and Experiencing Flu-Like Symptoms to Reschedule

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) advices anyone who has an upcoming interview or appointment at a USCIS field office to reschedule if they are feeling ill for any reason or have been exposed to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

USCIS says there is no penalty for rescheduling an appointment, adding that for the safety of employees and other people who visit field offices, “if you or someone with you appears ill or meets any of the conditions listed above, the officer may cancel your appointment or interview.”

Anyone who fits the criteria below is advised not to visit a field office even if they have an appointment, but instead reschedule the appointment:
